Voalte Platform Server 3.7.14.1 Release Notes

Executive summary.

Voalte Platform Server 3.7 allows customers to take advantage of features listed in the application release notes as well as the ones listed below.

Voalte Platform Server 3.7.14.1 (which includes Voalte Messenger 3.7.14 and Voalte Admin 3.7.14) is available starting 02/26/21. Please reach out to your Voalte representative for more information.

Voalte Platform Server 3.7 is supported on Internet Explorer (version 11), Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge Chromium.

New features and functionality improvements.

MSG-3187	Responding to a question with a Quick Response option while having an image in preview (not sent yet), the image is also sent.	None.

MSG-2941	Using a {/#/x-callback-url/login?voalteSessionToken=} bookmarked link on a logged in Messenger will result in a broken login screen.	None.

MSG-2691	[Race Condition] Voalte Messenger Chat is not displaying the names or pictures of users when changing the current chat view several times while refreshing the page.	Refresh the page or log out and back in.
MSG-2656	[IE 11 on Windows 10] The text cursor is not positioned on a new line upon accessing a conversation and the auto-added patient information feature is on.	Move cursor to end of text.
MSG-2641	Voalte Messenger remains stuck in reconnection if the computer has no access to "cdn.segment.com".	Segment is a tool used for analytics. Please ensure traffic is not blocked.
MSG-2610	The ringtone is not played for every message received if multiple messages are received in quick succession	Avoid sending many messages in quick succession.
MSG-2606	The user's Title is not displayed upon accessing the user profile section from a conversation	View the user's Title by searching for them under the 'Browse' tab.
MSG-2599	The user's pill is displaying a loading spinner when accessing a Group Profile with more than 1300 recipients.	None. Close the Group Profile.
MSG-2597	Loading spinner is displayed over the credentials fields, when trying to login while the server is busy.	None.
MSG-2591	The Role Extension and Role DID are not displayed for the self user's own Role Profile.	None.
MSG-2586	The "Unable to get property 'username' of undefined or null reference" error is displayed if "10405 Already Logged in" is received on the log-in screen.	None.

MSG-2564	The app occasionally gets stuck in Shift Overview, after editing the Shift Assignment.	Force close, and relaunch application.
MSG-2562	The "Only one window/tab may be open..." error message might be displayed if opening another MSG instance in the same browser - no tone is played.	Don't switch back to the initial MSG instance before the new instance is fully loaded.
MSG-2556	[Chrome] The priority tone is played only once if the user is logged out due to inactivity session timeout, last log-in wins, etc	None.
MSG-2446	Favorite star is not displayed anymore alongside the Favorited Team after the Team name is changed from Voalte Admin.	Navigate out of the current display and back in.
MSG-2418	Voalte Messsenger remains in infinite loading after double clicking the Login button while the same user is logged in on other device.	Close and reopen the browser.
MSG-2415	Favorite star appears not selected in a User Profile after that user logs into a unit currently in view. Error message displays when clicking the star.	Navigate away and back to the User Profile or refresh the browser.
MSG-2407	User is dropped into Home view after being bumped from an exclusive role/unit while viewing that unit.	Navigate back to unit.
MSG-2375	The app gets stuck in "Reconnection" mode, if connectivity is lost and regained while logging in with Single Sign-On	Force quit the app, then restart it, and log in via Single Sign-On again.

MSG-1846	A photo message might remain stuck in "image loading spinner" if a conversation is opened while having no network connectivity.	Refresh the page.
MSG-1556	User is able to cancel the Search Mode without clicking the 'Cancel Button'	This only happens if the user deletes the search characters. When done adjusting the search entry initiate the search again.
MSG-1405	A bulk selection option is not available to select all rooms.	Select the bulk selector next to each room.
MSG-1252	The application won't automatically recover from a "server busy" state after the server recovers.	Refresh the browser.
MSG-1218	No tooltip is displayed when hovering over an exclusive hospital based role cell displayed in a unit.	Open the profile to see all information.
IRIS-5085	A user's Preferred Number can be the same as their extension which can cause a call loop.	Avoid setting a user's preferred number and extension as the same number.
IRIS-4952	Username not changed in user_state table, if username is changed in Admin prior to the user logging in for the first time.	After the user has logged in, change the user's username to a different place holder name and then change it back to the intended username.
IRIS-4850	Rooms with identical external room and bed IDs can be imported in the same unit.	None.
IRIS-4784	User login timeouts during shift assignment due to server failing to process all available assignments.
IRIS-4643	Special characters in a patient’s name are displayed incorrectly with a "?" within Voalte One, Voalte Me, & Voalte Messenger.	None.
IRIS-4600	An incomplete error message is received after trying to import a .csv file which has the "Unit Name" and the "Room Name" fields empty but the Video Call URL populated.	None.
IRIS-4498	A Role Group which contains a retained Role (by a user which is currently logged out) cannot be deleted via Admin	Ensure that the Role that is preventing the Role Group from being deleted is no longer retained by a user, then delete the Role and the desired Role Group.
IRIS-4258	When dialing the exclusive role extension of a user logged into Voalte Me or Voalte Messenger with no preferred number, the unit redirect of the role/location pair will. not be used. The user's default unit's redirect will be used.	None.
IRIS-4229	Messenger user with a role that has patient viewing rights and at least one patient cannot send messages to a user with the same role.	Refresh page.

IRIS-3939	Inconsistent and invalid 'default' boolean for teams in audit can return "undefined" value leading to invalid input syntax ERROR.	Submit a Voalte Support Ticket for the requested audit data if Error occurs.
IRIS-3938	If peer-to-peer calling is disabled, Voalte One to Voalte One calls in audit will not be marked as voalte_to_voalte, instead they are marked as voalte_to_external.	None.
IRIS-3861	[Race condition] users may not have any shift information in their profile after being temporarily disconnected for an extended period of time.	Edit shift or sign out and back in to restore shift information.
IRIS-3848	IRIS continually attempts to send an FCM that is too large to consume.	None.
IRIS-3773	Audit records for calls to exclusive role extensions which forward to a Voalte Me user's preferred number do not record which exclusive role extension was dialed.	None.
IRIS-3737	"An unknown error has occurred" may be displayed when editing or adding extension ranges in Admin on servers with over 4500 users.	If you encounter this issue, please reach out to Voalte to adjust the response_http_ms_timeout for the Admin.
IRIS-3730	A building which contains a "retained" Unit because they were previously logged in there cannot be deleted.	Have the user with the retained unit remove it from his or her list.
IRIS-3702	[iOS] If alarms are sent to a user when he or she does not have network connectivity, he or she may not receive notifications for some of the alarms once network connectivity is regained.	None.
IRIS-3670	A patient in a virtual room will have missing information when searching for the patient while unavailable and in a non-default role that has patient viewing privileges.	None.
IRIS-3642	Constraints on email address formatting differs between bulk upload and Admin.	When adding users with a CSV, check that the email addresses are valid.
IRIS-3601	[Audit][Directory] Changing the picture of a user from Admin does not capture the performing user in the Audit CSV Export file.	None.
IRIS-3580	[Audit] Being connected with the same user on ADMIN and a Voalte end user client at the same time, device information might be missing from Audit Export CSV files and Audit DB.	If logged into Admin first, this does not occur. If you log in to Admin, when already logged in to a Voalte end user client, then force close and relaunch the end user client so Audit will record the correct user information.
IRIS-3573	If a user extension is removed and not the DID, the same DID will appear in the profile even after adding a new extension.	Remove DID when updating or removing a user extension.
IRIS-3571	Performing multiple blind transfers (two) will wrongly indicate the Callee for the first call in the Audit DB and CSV export.	None.
IRIS-3569	User is unable to add/remove other users to/from Favorites after previously attempting to favorite a deactivated user from conversation history.	Force close and relaunch app.

IRIS-3213	If a user's account is change to "user" type (instead of administrator) while he or she is logged into Admin, an error message will display when editing the extension range.	None.

IRIS-1094	Notifications through APNS and GCM are not sent when users are logged out to due inactivity, signing into another device, or forced log out.	None. Fixed with new feature implementation in 3.7.9.
IRIS-305	Deleted call records may appear again in the call history.	The system currently only deletes the call history that has been loaded on the client. To delete the whole history you must load the whole history, then perform the delete.
ADM-1772	Voalte Admin is not functional if the computer does not have access to "cdn.segment.com".	Ensure the computer has access to "cdn.segment.com".
ADM-1771	Admin may load slowly for certain pages.	None.
ADM-1736	The default ringtone sounds are not played when clicking the play button after being reset to defaults after disabling the override_mute_switch parameter - the ringtones previously changed to something other than the defaults.	Refresh the browser.
ADM-1696	"An unknown error has occurred" pop-up is displayed if trying to add a new extension range while having no Ethernet Connectivity (http timeout)	None.
ADM-1695	A non user-friendly "- 1 -" error is displayed when navigating / creating a location in Admin and http timeout occurs.	Refresh the page when have Ethernet connection.
ADM-1678	Admin will display the incorrect error message when attempting to log in without internet connectivity.	None.
ADM-1578	The password field when editing a user will be populated after saving a new password and re-accessing user editor.	Clear out password field if no further changes to the password are needed.
ADM-1558	"An error occurred creating the role/group. Please try again!" error is received when trying to create a role that already exists in the system.	Error should indicate that role already exists.
ADM-1519	[IE11] Dashboard tab may lose functionality after adding a mobile number to several users from "No Mobile Number" report.	Click on another tab and then click on "Dashboard" tab.
ADM-1437	The color of the mandatory field indicator placed on Details tab is not changing to red when several mandatory fields are empty.	Refer to Admin manual for list of mandatory fields.
ADM-1435	[IE11] "Details" and "Roles" tabs may be displayed empty when bulk inspecting users.	Use single inspector instead of bulk.
ADM-1368	The export progress bar may update incorrectly for small or medium exports.	None.
ADM-1335	The mobile number is not successfully saved if dismissing the confirmation dialog using the Esc key.	Click "Close" to ensure mobile number is saved.
ADM-1214	Import progress bar is displaying incorrect information after importing a file containing an invalid GUID and/or duplicate location.	None.
ADM-1160	"Users" page might get stuck up to ~40 seconds when browsing between pages while set to display up to 200 results per page.	Use Chrome. If you must use IE 11, set it to display 25 results per page. The pages show slower with each step up above 25 when running on IE 11.
ADM-1112	The "Units & Rooms" page gets stuck in infinite loading after trying to delete a unit, which cannot be deleted.	Reload page.
ADM-985	Error Message is not received when saving a non-Voalte One user account with DID and without a Voalte extension.	None.

IRIS-305	Deleted call records may appear again in the call history.	The system currently only deletes the call history that has been loaded on the client. To delete the whole history you must load the whole history, then perform the delete.
ADM-1772	Voalte Admin is not functional if the computer does not have access to "cdn.segment.com".	Ensure the computer has access to "cdn.segment.com".
ADM-1771	Admin may load slowly for certain pages.	None.
ADM-1736	The default ringtone sounds are not played when clicking the play button after being reset to defaults after disabling the override_mute_switch parameter - the ringtones previously changed to something other than the defaults.	Refresh the browser.

ADM-1160	"Users" page might get stuck up to ~40 seconds when browsing between pages while set to display up to 200 results per page.	Use Chrome. If you must use IE 11, set it to display 25 results per page. The pages show slower with each step up above 25 when running on IE 11.
ADM-1112	The "Units & Rooms" page gets stuck in infinite loading after trying to delete a unit, which cannot be deleted.	Reload page.
